Introductions

Hi there

My name is Paige and I'm the author of this blog (obviously....) but I'm not terribly exciting myself so I shall just have a little ramble about what this blog of mine is about, what it might include and a little about why I'm writing it.

I have had quite a few friends let me down a lot recently and I don't get to see my best friend anywhere near as often as we'd both like so I decided that I might write a blog to share some of my views and ideas with the world.

I plan on trying to keep my posts different and exciting. I know I can get bored easily sometimes while reading blog posts so I definitely don't want to bore you with mine! Where's the fun in that? I can be quite a fun and bubbly person when I'm comfortable around the people I'm with and I'll try my best to let that show in my blog.

I can't guarantee that all of my posts are going to be sweetness and light, sometimes I feel there is a (sort of) serious issue that needs to be voiced to the world and that something needs to be done about it. But I'll try to keep even those subjects light and only occasional. I enjoy nail art and baking and other creative things so I'm pretty sure posts like that will feature fairly prominently.

I would love to have my own YouTube channel as I feel I could convey myself and the things I want to say much better. However I'm much more at home behind the camera and I'd feel far too shy and self conscious in front of it. We'll just have to see how things go. But I will try my best to make my writing as engaging as possible and sometimes, it's easier to write things down instead of trying to say it.

This isn't, for the most part, really intended to be a document of my life because, well, it's a blog not a diary and the internet doesn't need a document of my life, thoughts and feelings. Although I don't want this to seem emotionless either, there is a human (me) sat typing away on her laptop after all.

I guess I'll just have to see what life throws at me and take each day as it comes and I would be honoured if you'd like to come along for the ride with me!
